📚 Learning French with the Red Cross of Villeneuve-le-Roi

At the French Red Cross, we believe that mastering the French language is a key to autonomy, integration, and success.

That’s why our local unit in Villeneuve-le-Roi offers French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses accessible to anyone who wishes to improve.

These courses are intended for:

  • people who are not French speakers,

  • those for whom French is not their mother tongue,

  • and relatives who want to become helpers to support their family in this learning process.

How do the courses work?

Our volunteers adapt each session according to the level of the participants: beginners, intermediate learners, or advanced speakers looking to refine their skills. The activities are varied and practical:

  • Reading and writing exercises: reading a simple article, understanding instructions, writing short texts.

  • Pronunciation and speaking practice: everyday dialogues, role-plays (shopping, asking for directions, making an appointment).

  • Grammar and spelling review to strengthen basics.

  • Advanced practice for those who want to go further: vocabulary building, writing letters or CVs.

  • And above all, moments of exchange where we learn together in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
